Depends on the wood it is made out of. I live in Florida and my home is made out of Cypress and is in great shape after 30 years. Even though it is illegal to harvest Cypress now. Ceder is a excellent wood that resists bugs and rot also.

I don't think it would hold up very well . Termites love cedar , and most woods
