Navajo Hogans are log homes and have lasted many years, the wood however is hard to get unless it is shipped in

Depends on the wood it is made out of. I live in Florida and my home is made out of Cypress and is in great shape after 30 years. Even though it is illegal to harvest Cypress now. Ceder is a excellent wood that resists bugs and rot also.

I don't think it would hold up very well . Termites love cedar , and most woods
