Joanne “Jo” Rowling, OBE (born July 31, 1965[1]) is an English fiction writer who writes under the pen name J. K. Rowling.[2] Rowling is most famously known as the author of the Harry Potter fantasy series, which has gained international attention, won multiple awards, and sold over 300 million copies worldwide.[3] In February 2004, Forbes magazine estimated her fortune at £576 million (just over US$1 billion), making her the first person to become a US-dollar billionaire by writing books.[4] Rowling earned US$75 million in 2005

J.K. Rowling writes with such honesty and reality that it makes the entire book come alive. Each character is extremely 3-dementional; you feel like you know each one of them personally. They all have feelings that each person can relate to. The books take you to a whole new world. This is a new world full of amazing creativity and wonder. Whenever I'm having a bad day, and I wish I could be anywhere other than where I am, I can just pick up my book and be immediately transported to a world filled with magic and surprise. Harry is such a great character, because he is the person almost everyone is inside at one point or another, and at other times, the person everyone wants to be. He helps you get hope to become that person you want to be. J.K. Rowling has done the unthinkable: rescued children from an era of DVD's and reality television; she's re-taught the joy of reading, at a point when thought near impossible. My congratulations go to Ms. Rowling, and thanks for sharing her amazing talent with the world!

Shoulder length, straight blonde hair (bleached I think). A relatively long, thin face with a roman nose. Medium build with quite a petite waist. Blue / grey eyes. An English 'home counties' accent with mainly received pronunciation however this has been developed over time to hide her original accent. There is the odd Welsh lilt on some gutteral vowel sounds. Height: 5 foot five inches (1.65 m) Caucasian. Despite being so wealthy, she rarely smiles.

An author with a very rich imagination. Those story lines and neologisms are quite fascinating and inventive. To create an entirely new world out of one's imagination is amazing- a very gifted writer.

She brillant and really deserves the money she is getting from the HP series. Before her books became best sellers, she was very poor and abused by atleast one of her husbands. She kept moving around too.
She also has and AMAZING imagination that inspires almost everyone. Anyone she says she is just lucky and a fool is stupid!
