Being a 20 year old college male, I tend to like electronics personally. Last year my parents got me a 40 GB portable hard drive that has been extremely useful for putting all of my schoolwork on so I can take it back and forth between computers. A laptop, an iPod, a digital camera, a television... Those are all ideas from a higher price range, but things that I like. Maybe some nice blankets for his bed might be a good idea even.

Honestly, a gift card to Best Buy, Target, Blockbuster, or wherever you think he'll want might be good.

i often is the only that doesn't pat you on your head. you would be able to "shop this guy or woman's existence" for one extra month.... yet what does that actually do? It in basic terms prolongs the pain that guy or woman is going through themself... and prolongs the quantity of time that your grad student brother feels obligated to procuring an place of living for an in any different case immobile physique to place nonetheless in. This guy or woman won't in any respect get extra suitable: that's her top overall performance point maximum surprising now. you would be able to think of you're "doing the sturdy element" even though it could in basic terms placed off her inevitable dying in some months leaving you a ton of savings lighter. It took you in my opinion a protracted time to shop that money and now some drug addict's spouse (who probable have been given the ailment from shared drug needles, meaning she did it to herself) in a roundabout way merits all your efforts so she will raise a wrist to sip water? I notably propose talking to your brother in those words of longterm fee and if he even thinks this way gesture could accomplish something. yet another element: as quickly as drug addicts be attentive to somebody has money they'll consistently anticipate extra... and sometime they'd come by ability of to get extra. you could no longer shop the international in case you could no longer shop your self. tell your brother to flow on. there is too plenty deadweight in that dating. have faith me...as a grad student he has sufficient student loans weighing down the subsequent 2-3 a protracted time of his existence already. he will sense like a fool having spent plenty money on a ineffective lady whilst he can no longer have the money for the college training for his very own infants 20-some years down the line.
