I think whenever we try to find out about things or events happening around us, we too become that thing or event ourselves to an extent depending upon what we are, or who we are already … so whatever we know then amounts up to our very personal opinions, which can be one sided and bias. What do you think?

This is known as Heisenberg's Principle.
He postulated that you cannot conduct any form of experiment without actually becoming part of the experiment yourself, simply as an observer.
It is a great starting point for mind/word games like :
"If a tree falls in the forest and there is no-one there to hear it, does it still make a sound?".
By definition, we'll never know.
Unfortunately, Dr H passed away before his principle was perfected (mathematically) and reduced to simple english as:
"If a man speaks and there is no woman there to hear him, is he still AUTOMATICALLY wrong?)
(this refined equation CAN be resolved and the answer is "yes")

Yep, have you heard the saying about history? What we believe to be history is just what one person wrote down at the time.........

It could be far from the truth really.

I understand what you are saying, but really, if you are a part of something or not, your own biases and pre conceptions will have an impact of what you think or believe of the situation anyway.........

At least if you are their, you can pretty much trust what you think is happening, other than rely on someone else to interperate it and pass it on..

You need a crystal ball, some onions and a fat black one-legged cat that can sing, "She'll be coming round the mountain" and also has soothsaying abilities.

I asked myself that very question but still had to phone my sister, she reckons to know everything, her reply was to put more sauce on it.
