Why? First of all it is a stupid fad. Second, why not just let your child be whoever he is going to be? How would you have felt if your dad said, "should I make my son be into disco.." or whatever.
Edited to add: wow, I'd rethink the emo thing for your son since you have no clue what it even is. emo and gothic are NOT the same thing. You are a poser.

I would have to say NO! He is only 2 mths old and has no clue what you are trying to subject him to. You should never force a child into anything! Some people actually tend to grow up when a new baby comes. You really need to think about the (bigger picture) and not start something with your child that you could regret later. Your taste's will change much quicker then your child's. And pretty soon you might just have a real handful there.
You need to really think about what your doing and how it will effect your child later down the road. I'm not trying to be mean but this "answer me!!!" thing really shows your age.
