I work at a hotel and a bunch of teenagers checked in and started partying. Of course, i got a complaint. So i called the room the kids were in and told them to quiet down or i would call the police. Well a couple of hours passed and someone else called me from the opposite room. So i called the police and they busted the kids for drugs. Did i do the right thing?

ABSOLUTELY, had one of those kids Overdosed or something - the parents would have blamed the hotel. Where were the parents, I couldnt be gone more than 20 minutes without my dad forming a search party.

YES! You are obligated as the hotel representative to help maintain the hotel for the guests and the owner.

When a hotel rep does not call the police when crimes are being committed, then the police can take action (seizure) against the property.

The kids are the criminals, you are the good guy/gal!

Good job!

Not only right but a little too late...you knew they were illegal and should have called the police after the first complaint....you should have warned them that you would have to call the police if too many people went into the room

Yes however they should not have been allowed to check in in the first place. When you check into a hotel room you must sign a contract. No one in the USA may sign a contract under the age of 18 so they were there illegally anyway.

Of course!

Drug users must not be given any room.

And yes, even though there were no drugs, they were causingn disturbance. So, your hotel had every right.

You are a good employee. God bless.

yes, you absolutely did the right thing, drugs are illegal, and the kids were acting irresponsibly and anti-socially, you gave them fair warning, they got what they deserved.
