When something upsets me or when I get angry I get pain in my chest. What does this mean?

Sounds to me like you have chest pain when you get emotional. This might be nothing and reflect the emotional state (many people with anxiety can get chest pains) or may have something to do with breathing difficulty (people with asthma can get similar chest pains).

Or it may be to do with ischaemic heart disease. You should probably consult your doctor about these chest pains and see if you need further tests. You may or may not, depending on the nature of the chest pains and your underlying state of health.

It's stress. You strain your muscles when you tense up when you're angry or anxious. Nothing to worry about.
