i had just finished working 2 weeks oncall and on my last night at arrond 3am i was driving back along the job ,the was a person standing in the midlle of the road ,i slowed down to talk to him when the lights from an oncoming vechicle came arround a bend and shone on the place where the person was standing, he dissappeared i thought just real tired you know the black dog that truckies see ,I menitioned this to my my mate a couple of days later and he recalled an incident with his girl friend years before on the same bit of road where she swears she saw a man on the side of the road and when they stoped there was no sign,im not usally the spookie type but i tell you the hairs on the back of my neck stand up everytime i thinlk about it

You must have been sure of what you saw to get you to slow down to talk to the person. We think our scientists know just about everything, but there is much much more we don't know about the world and universe. I believe in angels, maybe this happened to save you from having an accident. Don't be afraid, nothing bad happened. I once heard footsteps, I think it was some kind of spirit, we lived in that house for another 8 years and I never heard them again. You are blessed, people pay big money for the chance to see a 'ghost'. Best wishes.

Wow, that's creepy. Ask around if anyone else has seen it? Maybe get a bunch of friends (never alone!!!), get a tape recorder, a video camera ,a themometer, go over there and see what you can find. That is if you want to do so.
