others. They did major remodeling recently. The owner and her are coming Monday to check out the remodeling before they pay contractors. I want very much to have owners contact information , but don't think it is good to request it in front of her. She has hated me and been intimidating since I complained that they violated lease and entered five times in 20 years with no 24 hour notice. She knows I am scared of her as either her manager (who I went over her head when they cheated me of $80 and I told him she screamed at me) told her I'm afraid of her or a new neighbor who is real chummy with her told her when another neighbor blabbed it. I know legally I am allowed to have owner info but scared to request from office as she may try to evict me as they do it all the time. I am thinking of either telling him all the crap we have put up with over the years when I move or getting other tenants grievances and mailing them to HUD and owner and health/safety depts and want to know how

if I should request it when he comes with her (only time he's ever been here) or is there another way to get it?

Now dont get me wrong when i say "tuffen up" First off your manager cant do a damn thing to you except collect the rent. Very few people realize who many rights the tenet actualy has, between landlord and tenant the tenants rights are overwelming. If you pay your rent on time and are a good tenant they cant do squat to you. I dont know where you live or how old you are or anything about you for that matter but PLEASE dont live in fear of her because when you get to the root of this woman you see shes a power tripping earand girl, a no one that collects money she cant keep and thinks she is in control of others lives.
About the owner...he has a manager because he does not want to deal with it so on a personal level I'd leave him alone, BUT whatever happens to her happens to him as she is his representitive. I've delt with loosers like her for fun took it to court and had them beg to settle (its alot of fun) but you need to know what you can an cant do . What ever city you live in go to there web site and download the tenant / landlord rights its usually free and it has everything you need to know about what you or they can and cant do, It's a awesome tool. Once again i'll say these people have no right to do any thing but collect the rentand to stay out of your personal life.....good luck and give them hell
i added the links i've used and los angeles aint an easy place to hassle them fools

First off do you know the owners name >? If you do look it up in the phone book or call information. Don't ask for it in front of the Manager it will further complecate things. what I would do is if I can not get ahold of the owner I would while the owner is there put a note on there car with your # And a short note or if you fel unsafe doing that call the housing athourity and Make an annomouis complant. I know I can't spell very well but I hope you get the point
