If you are worried call your doctor. Sometimes it feels like we can't feel our baby moving when we're up and about. Eat something (babies move more after we eat) and then lay down for awhile and try and feel fetal movements. Kicks, flutters, rolls.

I f you are worried you need to go to the hospital and be monitored. But it can depend on what your having or the position of the baby or if you have been occupied with other things. If you are having a boy they move less because they are lazy lol (probably noticed this with your partner). If the baby legs are towards your back or it is quite small you may not feel the movements. If you are working, because your mind is on something else you don't notice the movements. Go to the midwife or maternity ward that is what they are there for. I had this problem with my first pregnancy and they must have got sick of me at hospital, but it is a vicious circle. The more you stress the less they move. Good luck.

I very much doubt that by lying flat on your stomach you would have done anything to harm your baby. However, if you are in any way worried about your baby and its movement of lack of it, maybe you need to get straight to the hospital and speak to a midwife and ask for a USS (ultra sound scan) to put your mind at rest about your baby's health. I hope you will be fine.

Your baby is well protected down there. I doubt that sleeping on your stomach would harm your baby.
Drink a glass of cold water, and then lie on your side for a while and see if you feel the baby move.
The movements you can expect depend on how far along you are. I am 21 weeks and some days don't feel my baby move much.
If you are still worried, go and see your midwife.

How many months are you into pregnancy? When my wife was pregnant with our first she slept on her tummy quite often during the first 3-5 months of pregnancy. We hardly felt our baby move between month 3 and 5, and we were naturally concerned as this was our first. After 6 months she moved frequently. Your baby is surrounded by a wall of water which keeps her safe and secure. I don't think you need to worry too much, but like you I would have worried too, especially if it had been my first. It's probably best to get in contact with your GP anyway, just to give yourself peace of mind.

you didn't say what month old your baby is.normally movements starts at 16-20 weeks.lying flat on stomach increases the pressure on your baby.may harm.you don't know how long you had been in that position.where you getting foetal movements before?if so just try it.....after dinner lye down on your left side for one hour and watch the movements.if it is absent or less than 5 no doubt see your doctor.

call the doctor just to let them know your concern so they can reassure you, drink some ice cold water they used to make me do it when I was being monitored when the baby fell asleep and didn't move to register on the monitor the cold water would quickly wake him up. You really should call a medical professional to get assurance otherwise you will worry yourself in to a state and that's not good for either of you. X

Consult your Doctor or Ob/Gyn as soon as is possible (today would be good, if you haven't already.). If you are early in pregnancy, movement may be hard to feel/detect. However, if you are along, such as in late 2nd or 3rd trimester, then you need to see Dr. immediately. This is for both your baby's well being, as well as your own. Most likely, you're alright--but, to be safe, check it out. Good luck--and here's to a healthy, happy baby!

Try drinking some ice cold water this usually wakes the baby up. If you still cant feel movement then call your midwife.

Drink or eat something high in sugar content, orange juice usually works well, ( the sugar usually wakes the baby up and gets them moving) then wait one hour if you dont start to feel the baby move then call your OB doctor and let them know you need to come in.
