dreams are our brains way of dealing with things that have happened and sorting them out like a hard drive on the computer it sorts out what needs to be put at long term memory and what need to be put into short term memory and what we can learn from our daily life and what we dont need.

Well it has alot to do with the person cause with me I either dream about the past or the future and everytime I dream about my future it comes to probably not in the same formation in my dream but it happens in that similar way. But I do believe all dreams has a meaning behind them you just have to look them up and interrpret them. Next time write down your dream as soon as you awake just in case you forget later in the day like most people seem to do even me sometimes and think that they didn't have a dream which is untrue cause your brain never stops thinking but any who like I was mentioning after you write your dream down when you get a chance look it up either in dream moods or meaning of dreams and it should tell you the meaning. But don't get me wrong some dreams may occur from the last thing you were thinking or watching before you went asleep but if your dream has nothing to do with what you were thinking or watching then most likely that paticular dream has a meaning behind it. Hopefully I helped you out in some kind of way. Just remember to never doubt a dream cause it might just be the next step you will need to take, to lead you to a bright future.

I have heard it said that when a person dreams it is their brain assimilating new information. That is why you tend to dream more as a child than as an adult. There is so much more information for your brain to process as a child than as an adult but if you pay attention, you dream most often the night after you have learned a new piece of information.

actually dreams do have a reason.....
we actually remember stuff by playing situations of that or other days situation again and again in our sleep.
like a playback.
when the brain gets overload wth these informations.
the brain makes a 'shortcut' and mix all of these situation together. like writing a story!

and when more and more info. get mixed up in your mind-play,

you tend to see this info in another of your mind's playbacks.....
