Hi..I had an idea for putting just a little bit of apple butter in a baby food jar..but was wanting to know..is it possible to reseal them..(like in canning)? Thanks

yes. Sanitise both the lid and the jar....i boil mine until bubbles form, jars separate from lids, then proceed as for canning. If you mean reseal left over food; not recommended. Freeze left over is the easiest way to save it

no, if you want something to keep you have to can, like canning is not good enough. However you could freeze things instead.
