My girlfriend of three weeks has accused me of being insincere towards her.
She said when I go out with her I act like a Hollywood movie star, giving waiters big tips, waving to strange women across the street and not having enough time for her. She's right of course. I do all these things.
Anyway, last night, she dumped me.
How can I pretend to the next girl that comes along that I'm sincere?

Try changing your voice, to one you are comfortable using; to a person who you feel is cool. The voice powerfully affects how you came across to others. Changing your voice will change your mannerisms, your word choice and even the way you think. But the trick is to really become that person. Additionally, the person you become would have to be sincere, or that person's attitude when he is sincere.
This is no joke. It really works. If you don't believe me, look at Dustin Hoffman's portrayal of Benjamen and then look at his following portrayal of Ratso Rizzo. No matter what other differences there are in the costuming or in the scenarios, one thing is obvious. Without the voice change, Ratso would not "be" Ratso.
