what's your favourite harry potter book & why?

My Fave Is Order Of The Phoenix..
Basically because the action is non-stop.... cant wait to see the Movie with all the action in the Ministry Of Magic, where the death eaters get there *** kicked by a a gang of Teenage Kids, then Voldermort and Dumbeldore battle..
I Suppose the best part of the films I like is in The Goblet Of Fire, in the Yule Ball... Where Hermione comes down the stair case looking drop dead gorgeous.... HOWWWLLLLLLL

The 3rd one, Harry Potter and the prison of Azkaban. Because it's the first book that be could really feel danger and darkness around Harry and ofcourse because Sirius joins the charcters!

I notice that I have liked the odd numbered books the best (Sorcerer's Stone, Prisoner of Azkaban, and Order of the Phoenix) but Order of the Phoenix is my most favoritest.
I like it because it really starts to tie everything together; even elements from the first book that didn't seem like much are important, and there's a lot of backstory. And it has the most emotion out of all of the books; I can feel this book the most.
I tip my hat to Rowling for all of her Potter books. They are very well written, have a complex, well developed plot, great character development, and engaging dialog.
Also, if you haven't heard the HP books on tape, I recommend it to any Harry Potter fan or anyone who likes books on tape. They are very well read (I don't know by who, though). Harry Potter books at their best.

I love all of the Harry Potter books.
They're all amazing.
To be honest I always wonder how great J.K Rowling's imagination is. To create a whole new world, that is so enchanting...

i like harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban the best, for the simple reason that sirius black was featured prominently in it and there was a lot of history about harry's parents and their friends and i really like that 'marauder's era' stuff
