I don't really know anything about her mothering skills.
Of recent days she has been caught partying pretty well every night, smoking and taking a lot of prescription drugs. Further more her relationship has collapsed; I think all of these factors could distract her ability to care for children, but do not nail the coffin on her mothering abilities.
Lets see... if she can provide love and opportunities for her children then yes she is a good mother. She's still quite a young lady, and like a lot of young mothers in my view may not be old enough to settle down and give 100% to children.

I think Britney is a young woman who has too many demands on her and cant really handle any more. She has two beautiful children and too much money for her own good. We dont really know what kind of mom she is, but this much i am sure of those kids are better off with her than that creepy guy she was married to.

I don't see her personally everyday and I don't care about her enough to follow her personal life in the media so you question is difficult. I will say that I have serious doubts about the mental abilities, morality and sanity of anyone that would marry an irresponsible, opportunistic scrub like Kevin Federline. Federline dated Spears while Shar Jackson was pregnant with his child and while she was still caring for the kid she had with him the prior year. Shar Jackson: "it wasn't like just breaking up a relationship. It was like breaking up a family." So if she will date and marry a man while his current woman is pregnant with his child it says even more about her inability to make good moral decisions. Is she a good mother? My answer would definitely NOT BE "yes".To don't see how one can be a good mother without also at least being a good person.

Well id say she loves her kids more than anything in the world. So id say they wont lack for love. But i reckon she jumped too far too soon with that dude. I mean i know love is supposed to be blind and all but seriously the whole world(including me and i dont follow this stuff) could see that he was a waster. He had another kid with another girl and left her for britters. I think all britney needed was a good friend, somebody who could sit her down and point a few things out to her that maybe she wasnt aware of. But i think she'll be a good mum

Sure. If you that being a good mother means leaving the kids in the care of a nanny while the mother goes out to party all night. I doubt she sees those kids for more than an hour a day. She is a loser. She could have really made something of herself. Instead she decided to have zero class and make her name by being a skank. She could have made a name for herself without going that route. I have no respect for her and cannot see how anyone could.

Being a good mother doesn't mean going out to parties and dates and leaving your children with a nanny or babysitter. A good mother loves and cares for her children. And a good mother does anything she can to make her children happy. I'm not saying Brittany Spears isn't a good mother and I'm not saying she's a bad mother either, she's only human though.

LOL...the woman flashes the world, drives without her child in a car seat, is quite possibly on drugs/alcohol/God knows what else, and probably heading for a meltdown that will put her right back on the front cover of every tabloid in America....I sincerely doubt that her children are even a priority.

Well, I do not live with her, therefore I have no idea.
The tabloids will do anything to make her look bad. I am sure she is not a model mother though.
And I am not a fan of hers either.
I think we just need to give her the benefit of the doubt.
It looks like K-Fed is more than willing to divulge oodles of bad behavior to the tabloids for the all mighty dollar.
