I believe you are referring to a "Freudian Slip" that is - An error in speech that reveals repressed thoughts or feelings; for example, accidentally calling one's wife “Mom.”

Well. If a Freudian slip is saying one thing but actually, unconsciously meaning another (usually sexual since Freud thought everything had a sexual meaning)....then a Floydian slip would possibly be a similiar misstatement, in this case, revealing something about the speaker's musical tastes or (psychedelic) drug experiences.
I was born in Miami. Does that mean I might make a Floridian slip?

A Freudian slip is a miss interpretation of a word.
Like Floydian instead of Freudian.

It is a play on words based on "Freudian slip", from Sigmund Freud, meaning to think one thing but to say another.

I don't know, but I would say that it's whenever the lunatic says something that you didn't mean to say. Like a Freudian slip, only you have something to blame it on and you do blame it on them.

A Freudian Slip is when you say one thing and mean your mother, oops I mean another. ; )

You are thinking one thing and what you were really thinking in your subconcious comes blurting out. Think of it as your embarrassing nightmare coming true while you are awake.

Oh the horror...
