i have been cought for shop-lifting and released under bail upon submission of my passport at one of the retail outlets in dubai,a case is charged against me . i did admit my mistake and terribly repend for it. i dont know why i did this most awful act, otherwise for the world i am the best mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend and employee. i am most certain that i will not commit any mistake by heart, word or deed henceforth .when i stepped for the first time to a police station the feeling was terrific, luckily my most supporting husband stood beside me , otherwise i should have colapsed. i canot share my experience with anyone else except for my mother and husband and i did share with them. but all the people around me feel i am undegoing a pressure and they are praying for me. i am just waiting for the call from the law enforcement, i pleaded to get me out of this but in vain-i cant tolerate this mental torture- i feel i go mad-please advice me legally and personaly my friends

On a personal note, if you are the best mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend and employee, why the hell would you shoplift? A human being has an advantage over other species that walk this earth, there is a split second when responsible thought kicks in and you get to choose between what is right and what is wrong. This is not setting a good example for your children, and with you husband at your side, you should feel fortunate that he is there. A very stupid move, sugar coating a tongue lashing won't suffice, don't go mad, you know what you did was wrong, if you keep beating up yourself, you are going to require more help than what you should be receiving at this time. Talk to a clergy or a psychiatrist, don't keep the feelings in. I too will pray for you and as for the legality of your actions, it depends on the judge or magistrate, depending on where you live. You say this is your first offense, then let it be that, but I don't believe that it is the first time you have shoplifted. You seem to have a very good support group within your family, don't put them through any more embarrassment. GOD BLESS.

Find a lawyer who cam make a deal with guys at the shop as long they drop the charges. Go to church and repent. Then hit the yoga classes and meditation sessions.remember of the brave and important things that you have done in the past and remind your self of the exciting and satisfying feeling it gave you.and take this moment to be a learning experience for you. Ask your family and friends to forgive you for making Them so anguished.Don't worry things will turn out OK.I am also praying for you.
