I douche maybe once or twice a week, I dont have a partner right now, so sometimes I do it even every week or two, just when i know ill have sex that day, but when I did have a partner I used to do it almost everyday, I just hate the thought of not being clean, and even when I douche, if i dont have sex within a certain time, I feel that I will not be clean, and it has happened, So I do it even longer the next time I do it. but when im done my legs get very weak and im afraind it might be affecting me health wise.

Shouldn't cause damage unless you use high pressure or large volumes (> than 1 litre)

People use enemas for constipation or cleansing or recreation and usually do not injure themselves.

I think you might have a slight problem of over cleanliness . I won't go into the psycholigical reasons, maybe you ought to consult with a professional on this. But, the procedure itself might cause you more problems than benefits. Over-cleaning your private parts will kill all the bacteria that lives in the area and keeps it healthy and might cause some infections. Please read here:

Douching is rinsing or cleaning out the vagina by squirting water or other fluids (solutions made with vinegar or baking soda that you can buy at the drug store) into the vagina. Women douche to rinse away blood after their periods and to generally feel cleaner. Many women douche, but doctors do not recommend it. Douching changes the balance of natural chemicals in your vagina and can make it easier for you to get dangerous infections.

Because the chemical balance of the vagina is very sensitive, it is best to let the vagina clean itself. The vagina takes care of cleaning itself naturally through secretions.

Warm water and gentle, unscented soap during the bath or shower is the best way to clean the outside areas of the vagina.
Products like feminine hygiene soaps, powders and sprays are not necessary, and may be harmful.

The danger of this practice lies in the washing out of normal bacteria in the colon.. there for a health purpose.. You can create a reduced normal flora of this area and have other complications.. is why antibiotics are limited in time of use... they kill off the necessary symbiotic bacteria of the colon.

You really need to stop doing this. Your body will absorbe water and it will mess up the electrolyte ballance that your body must maintain. If you feel that you must keep up this practice you need to find an isotonic solution to do it with. An isotonic solution is more neutral as far as electrolyte balance is concerned, it should not cause your electrolytes to shift.
