I am a girl so don't feel weird on this but the best way is to just pull the foreskin back and wash like you would but make sure there is no soap on the head or under the foreskin when it rolls back, it will only cause irritation or discomfort from soap but as for "cooties" if you have intercourse you should properly wash after you do the "deed" it just keeps you clean and sanitary in that general reigon. (you may want to pat dry also before the skin rolls back.)

When you regularly retract the foreskin and wash correctly with warm water and mild soap, you are doing your part in maintaining a healthy and recommeded hygiene routine. If you find yourself in a public bathroom (Like at a store or a restaurant), and can't clean up properly after using the toilet, consider carrying a small packet of Wet-Naps.....it's a good way to stay clean. Now as far as contracting or spreading some kind of disease....the only way you can keep from contracting or spreading a disease is by practicing safe-sex. Using Condoms is the only effective way of preventing Sexually Transmitted diseases. People have to understand that being circumcised or uncircumcised has no real bearing on preventing contracting or spreading a disease.....once you are infected, you will spread it no matter if your circumcised or not. Being hygiene-conscious is a very good and healthy custom......it will definitely make a big difference when you find yourself in a sexual relation with someone. Then again, I do believe that cleanliness is next to godliness.
You're doing your part by cleaning up good.....so keep up the good work, because you never know when you might need to use it!
Best of Luck!

Just wash it properly during a shower and you'll be fine. When taking a shower, make sure to pull back your foreskin and wash the head and inner area underneathe with water and mild soap. You may want to dry the area with a towel afterwards too, but that's not critical.
If you're having issues with smell or something throughout the day between showers, there's not too much you can do. You can try retracting your foreskin when you pee and wiping the excess drops of urine when you're done on toilet paper or your hand (you're going to wash your hands anyway). In this way, urine doesn't linger under your foreskin and cause smell.
Otherwise, you could just spend a few minutes and wash up before you have sex, that works too. Look at the interesting link too.

Wear protection, keep up the cleaning and keep the skin in good condition -- cracks in the skin invite fungi, bacteria and viruses in. Using a moisturizer after showering like Man1 Man Oil, made for the penis, can help keep the skin nice and healthy.

That white stuff underneath your foreskin is just smegma, which is usually dead skin cells. It is your body's way of getting rid of some things it doesn't need. It's perfectly normal, but if you are really concerned, shower daily, and while in the shower, pull your foreskin back and clean underneath.

You won't catch anything as long as it stays in your pants...Normal procedure prior to sexual activity is cleansing the area.. Soap and water are all that is necessary..That will not prevent you from catching something from some girl, however! If you want to read some statistics, you may find it advisable to continue to keep it in your pants.

Just clean it like you are doing, and if you still think you have problems with hygiene, pull back the skin when you pee and keep it dry.
I wouldn't worry about a disease if you practice safe sex.
