When I was 18I had a sexual relationship with a 34 year old woman, she broke up with me because I told her my real age. I met her at a bar( How I got in- Fake I.D) and we kicked it off ever since. We both shared the same level of intellect, independence and maturity...so then why when she found out I wasn't 22 but 18 she broke it off and told me to never contact her ever? I mean I know a lot of men whom are 30,36,45 years old whom could never call themselves half the man I was at 16, 18, 19 years old.. 18 and 22 are only 4 years apart, whats the big deal? Is maturity soley defined by age?

P.S iM STILL NOT 22, ladies??

Personally, I prefer an older man (my husband is 4 years older than me).

However, I pondered your situation a bit before I answered and I came up with this.

You lied to her dude, and that is why she broke up with you. I'm sure she said it was because of the age, but the truth is you LIED, and that hurt her. She probably thought, if he lies about his age, what else is he going to lie about?

Generally I like older guys because their maturity level matches mine. 18 year olds are far too immature and are really only interested in getting in a girl's pants, but this has just been my experience.

If you really are as emotionally mature as you claim, try being honest with the next girl that comes around.

However, I'd wonder about your maturity since you were breaking the law (with your fake id and consumption of alcohol) and you lied to a woman in order to be with her. Part of being mature is being disciplined enough to wait.

It reminds me of the movie 'Prime,' with Uma Thurman and Meryl Streep. He's in his early 20s and she's in mid-late 30s. Cute.

Anyway, off the point. When I was 23, I had a relationship with a 31 year old. Every guy should be required to have an older woman relationship at least once when they're young--it's just often a perfect match up in many ways, especially when the partners are pretty equal in maturity, among other things. Sexually, it can be ideal.

No, maturity isn't defined by age. I always felt a lot more wise and mature than my chronological age, and it sounds like you're in the same boat.

I still like older women, but now that I'm quite passed the early twenties, older women are quickly becoming old women. Lol. Anway, if you find older women more appealing, then go for it!

Mohammed was 20+ years younger than Khadija, the woman who became his first wife at her behest,
She recognized a worthy man after having him work for her.

I like older women they're by far very good in bed.. and intellectually challenging..no one below 22 for me... Im sick of hearing about shoes and britney spears.

you know my ex-gf who was about 5 years older than i was. I was 21 and she was 26, she said that there will be more pu.ssies that Id want to *****. And itll never work out, once im out of that "exploratory" age... shed be old... I guess women have very little self esteem. Anyway, 30?? that I cannot do! it be like ******** my mom.. Gross!!!
