I've washed it out but the smells stil in the house.

Oh! man if this went into the concrete your going to smell this forever. You may want to go up to Home -Depot, they've been a life saver to me several times with severe problems. Just talk to the man up there and they'll usually help you right away.

Spread a bag of kitty-litter on it and let it set for a week...

As long as there are no more combustable fumes in the room, burn some incense and scented candles in there when you are home... the fumes have probably soaked into the walls, ceiling, and change central heat/air filters.

there's a product noted as scent kill that's made only for this and it somewhat works okay.call up your gasoline oil employer or the employer that does provider artwork on your furnace.I somewhat have in no way considered this on any save shelf.I somewhat have worked as a burner provider guy so we continually were given it from the provision abode

Auto mechanics use this to soak up oil spills - OIL-SORBE. you can find it at the hardware store, or autoparts store or (of course) Walmart. (or kitty litter. will do)

But you may need to re-build afterwards.

I don't reccomend this though.
I'm on my 5th house now, and I'm hoping I don't spill again.
