ddin't say whether it bothered me or not nut I see a lot of good questions on here and answers that get thumbs down just because somebody is having a bad day or what ever there is enough negativity in this world it is nice when the positive can over rule the negative:)

I'm sorry to say, the answer is no. I don't see the point in giving thumbs down because it doesn't actually do anything.
I don't recall seeing a question without thumbs down for quite awhile now.

Why does getting thumbs down bother you? I think everybody is free to express themselves, whether positively or negatively so don't take the thumbs down seriously :)

It's human nature...kat. Especially when there's something so anonymous like this...it's just so tempting to give a thumbs down, even when it is a good question. You know, yin and yang...balance things out. Nevertheless, I did give you a thumbs up. But you'll never know if I'm lying or not...

yes, but if you mention anything about thumbs, especially thumbs+down in your question, you guarantee yourself some downwardly mobile thumbs. that's just the way some people are. like me, cuz i'm a joker.. today however, i gave you a thumbs up.
