My bf preordered his a lengthy time period in the past from HMV and were given it on the launch day (very last Friday) yet curiously no longer many were given shipped over or maybe even with the reality that sport is the significant distributor for wii's they have no longer had adequate inventory both. purely right wager is to the contact them right now and locate out once you're in all possibility to get it. a good type of places have cancelled preordering in favour of first come first served using call for! it truly is blatently a ploy to cause them to more effective in my opinion yet they're worth it, i have been playing all of it weekend and it will be somewhat truly worth the wait! wish you get yours quickly :o) Xx~xX

As for the recall its only for the actual straps and Ninetendo has said they will change the strap if the customer wishes. I questioned this on the Ninetendo web site.

Sold out until the New Year at least.
Oh, and there's a recall on them anyway as the straps are breaking all the time and the handsets are flying all over the place.
Save your money until they iron out the problems.

I've actually seen them still in stock at some small Woolworths branches (Ross on Wye most recently) - perhaps they are charging more or something like that?

You could get one on eBay but you'll be paying through the nose.
