Would you like to be able to split the points instead of giving them all to one person?
For instance. I asked for 'The secret of Success' 4hrs ago, and most of the answers I've got are really excellent. So I am loathe to choose just one.....

what i do in that situation is pick the person who gave a good answer first

I go over all the answers in my head, wait about half hour and then choose the one that springs to mind first.
Think it depends on your mood too.....sometimes you want a sarcastic or funny answer and sometimes a serious one

this is what I do : just choose one of those best answers and then take other people for giving such great answers .. it's the only way I can think of. hope this helps!

Things are relative to each other. Equality exists only in Mathematics. Therefore any answer is relative in quality to other answers.

try and pick one that stands out above the rest, that completely answers your question, or gives you some new insight, pick the person, and thank the other people in your comments.

if nothing really stands out...but they are all good...if you cant choose a best you can leave it to be voted on by other users...thus them choosing the best answer....
or you choose but in your comments thank everyone for answering.....theres really no other way.....
