Let me get this straight. You have a desktop and a laptop. You want us to help u set it up. But you didnt mention set what up. Set up local network? printer network? set up internet sharing?

if is windows juz follow the step by step follow the guild at the installation
if is network got 2 kind ( coneection pc to pc or u want a online connection)
pc-pc = juz buy a network cable (pc to pc)
online connection = buy a router , 2 pc to hub network cable , and the setting thing check at the hub setting , coz every hub also not same setting. ^^

Plug it in, insert the battery, let it charge for an hour, turn it on, follow the on screen prompts. If you get stuck, call tech support.
