First of all, congrats on your pregnancy!
Secondly, there are many factors that will determine when your partner will be able to feel it. Uterus position, body fat and fetal temprement all play a part in it. My wife got to 26 weeks before we could feel (and see) movement on the outside. We are now 23 weeks along with our second baby and as yet, I have only felt very minor squirms. Be patient and enjoy sharing the experience of pregnancy.

I would also say around 20+ weeks. He just really will have to wait a while with his hand on your belly to see if he does it again. As you go further along of course you know this already.... he can feel movement allot better. I wish that my husband could feel our baby like I do which is all the time. He is already playing tonka trucks in there. Oh the pressure! lol On 2ND thought never mind. He is a whiny baby when he is sick. Yep better me, I prefer to nag. lol.
No really....
Congrats, I love when our men get involved it really makes a house a home.

I first felt my son circulate around sixteen weeks. It in simple terms felt like little faucets. After approximately 22 weeks i became feeling him circulate in many situations. My fiance didnt sense him circulate till the 24 week mark. area of that became by using my placenta being on the front wall so whilst he kicked it became padded by making use of it. in case you drink some juice or a can of soda and lay back on a recliner or something he will in all probability have the means to sense between 20-24 weeks. once I hit 26 weeks nonetheless you need to work out the circulate. whilst he kicked my abdomen shook. It became magnificent. Now hes so huge he slightly has any room to circulate and plainly like an alien is attempting to get out! lol

At 18 weeks my baby wasn't moving enough for me to feel it on the outside of my stomach, but I can now. I'm 21 weeks and I can feel her moving with my hand, but she seems to stop moving whenever her daddy comes near. He doesn't have the patience to sit and wait for her to move again. I'm hoping that in the next couple of weeks she will be moving enough for him to feel!
Congrats on your little one!
