All these can be accepted as signs of intelligence. But having only these does not qualify a person as an intelligent person.

Actually when you say answer your questions, then that can mean either it makes sense or not. And if you can fill in the blanks of any subject matter, it depends if the answers are correct of not. And to respond sharply and logically without much effort, it has to make sense.

That depends on your definition of intelligence. IQ isn't really a measure of knowledge of specific subjects. It's a measure of innate ability to process information and solve problems. By that definition, an intelligent person isn't necessarily an expert on all subjects. However, provided with enough information on a topic, an intelligent person would be better able than the average person to formulate an intelligent answer.

a person may nor respond sharply, they may need time to think over their answer, and come up with a better one if they are given time.... depending on the type of question........ if it was an easy one, obviously an intelligent person should be able to answer then and there................
Filling in blanks does not count at all....... think about this, we have a so called intelligent person, who was left uneducated, (as in third world countries?) he wouldnt be able to answer scientific questions, but always has witty remarks, is knowledgeable about street life, how to survive in a world that requires education, basically everything about living that does not require you to go to school........... so, is he an intelligent person?

Yes and No. Yes, this person is intelligent, as for answering sharply is not a good characteristic. Intelligent people are here to improve in all areas. That's what makes them intelligent.

Intelligence is really a skewed subject. I think there are different types of intelligence. A person could be a wiz with numbers and math, but could suck at english as a subject. A person could be a wiz with english as a subject, but suck at arts and crafts. EVERYTHING really is about figuring out a creative way of solving your questions, or being able to creatively attune the meanings of a sentence to fill in the blanks, or being able to creatively convey a mathematical equation, or being to create a beautiful masterpiece of art or craft. In my opinion, creativity is the basis of intelligence. Thats my two cents.

You have got it right there.... yes, intelligence performs the function of improving the ratio of results over efforts within reasonable limits....... on the other hand creativity simply upsets this ratio by giving surprisingly disproportionate output. Intelligent people can be achievers merely by focus in application..... but they can not necessarily be creative unless they can think laterally or out of the box.

Knowledgeable person.. Good memory + coherent & logical recall.
Intelligence is the ability to percieve afresh, not just receive inputs and store or recall it logically, that is why even knowledgeable people do not perform well in I.Q. tests so well, and such tests are improved to eliminate 'data banks' ...
Wisdom is the ability to pecieve and apply effectively, usually comes with rich experience.

I think there is more to it, not just educational knowledge is what makes people intelligent. I the ability to solve problems is what makes people smart, and in order to do so, not much scientific knowledge is needed.
