let's be honest? please give me your opinions. when i was in med school, some were attracted and really expressed themselves, and others tried to hide it for fear of what others may think.

Well, as a caucasian male married to an African woman, I have to confess to a prejudice in favour of African/Caribbean women.
Not a blanket prejudice - people are people, and everyone is different. - but certainly an aesthetic one. If three women walked into the room, I would look at the african first, asian second, and the caucasian woman third.
I have certainly never felt any need to hide, or justify my aesthetic tastes - but believe me, we are well aware of the prejudice in other people.

Well, as a gay Chinese woman I find African and Caribbean women very attractive. Can't really comment on the American part - as I have never personally met one. There are definitely a lot of fine looking women in US movies and TV.
I am sure that they are no different from all other people - some are nice, some are horrible, some are smart, some are stupid ...
I have a straight UK friend who has married an African woman - they don't care if people don't approve.

Like all other groups, there are good ones and bad ones. I've never had anything but professional relationships with African-Americans, so on a social level I really can't say. In my case, at least, there usually isn't enough commonality for me to be interested in socializing with African-American women. But I have nothing against them, as people. As long we can live with mutual respect, then I don't see any problem.

It really depends on the individuals themselves. Most do not like sharp-tongued, street talking women that are, pardon the term, "ghetto". I have met many African American women in business and I respect their intelligence and the tremendous obstacles that they had to overcome just to achieve things caucasians take for granted.

Wow, i stumbled across this question and was pleased to read some very pleasant answers. I wish everyone could be open minded and learn to love and step outside the boxes of what society tries to deem as wrong. These answers were beautiful. I love to read about people who are strong mined and go after what they feel is right for them.

That is a pretty broad question it depends on what white person you talk to. But i guess in general there are still people in this world that base people on color and not the person. I am married to a white girl but if i would have fell in love with a black girl I would have married her in a heartbeat.

let's positioned love first. you are able to no longer help who you fall in love with. think about problems with relations/society/associates. actual love CAN triumph over all. relations being the worst in my e book. Now at the same time as i replaced into in intense college, the brothers that ended up with White women were those that were "dissed" by each and each and every of the sisters. (noted as -gruesome/lame/uncool, and so on....) by an same token, the various White women they ended up with, were particularly beastly, even with the undeniable fact that it replaced into all about companionship. briefly, the cool White boys did not choose the beastly women, the sisters did not choose the" corny" brothers. those human beings had an same needs that all of us did in college. hence those similar adult males who were provided that protection from "those" women, nevertheless associate "them" with the comprehend-how that they choose. even with the undeniable fact that, some Black adult males do price White women as more effective than Black women, for alot of motives. To many to get into the following. With all that reported, those gruesome a$$, lame and uncool brothers "ain't" looking too undesirable after those college days. they're those who many times fare enormously nicely with jobs and that type of element. We actually have "length" project. yet another day, yet another topic !!

Its funny but to be honest as I gotten to know more black women on a intimate basis, the softer they get. At first, they have a defensive posture like a shield, but as you get to know them, which is not easy to do, they tend to be softest and vulnerable women I have ever been with. I hate to say it, but I have been with a lot different women of all races so I do have a frame of reference.

I think the assimilated attractive black women won't have as much of a problem finding caucasion man than any other subculture of blacks.
