Thank you for your question.

There were plans to build a pyramid for the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution. IM Pei was aware of this when he designed it. Contrary to popular myth and the Da Vinci Code there are not 666 panes but 673. Nor did Francois Mitterand specify how many panes of glass there should be.
