i love making bags and stuff that have to be closed up, but i dont know how to bind knitted sticthes together so i have to sew it up. help?

I like the 3 needle bind off. I use it ALL the time. Take both sides and put them together, right sides facing each other. Hold then in left hand. Grab a 3rd needle and knit both first stitches together, then both second stitches together. Then start binding off. You take the first stitch and pull it back over the 2nd. Keep doing this until you are done with the row, and pull the selvage yarn through the last loop.

you can :

1. stitch it up using darn stitches. (sew)
2. get a third knitting needle and make a hem.

I'd recommend the second for bags; the first is better suited for things like sweater sleeves that need to be "flat".
