You could theorise for example that someone who is very bright could have sever problems relating to people who don't have the same emotional and intelectual intellgence. If these people are unrelateable to the individual that person may not be able to empathise and the only way the purpose of to be loved and to belong can be met is if behaving in a way you would consider sociopathic. Gennerally? Well with all unbalance in the mental state, there is, with the lack of yang there is ying to compensate. Eistine had to be looked after like a baby, Billy connely doesn't know what he was saying 5 minutes ago, Robbie Williams is suicidal, Winston Churchill was impossible to live with and spike Milligan lies with the headstone "I told you I was Ill"

Sociopaths generally have above average intelligence and no more. They are all form over substance and lack the ability, discipline, and honesty to succeed academically. They are masters of faking intelligence, not masters of actually being intelligent. That is why prisons are filled with them. If they were so smart they would never be caught.

Of course, there are differences among individuals but antisocial behavior is usually a mark of bright and multitalented people. However, "Talented" does not necessarily apply to performing arts.

Bright yes. Gifted? I wouldn't say so. Sociopaths have no conscience, which puts them down there with the primates, in my opinion. You can feel sorry for them, but they'll NEVER feel sorry for you.

Yes, I was married to one, briefly. He was very intelligent and talented in many ways. He could mix with the best and worst of people. For the most part he chose to mix with the worst of them, therefore we are no longer together!

yes.. they are, too bad they went to waste... i had clients like those before... they couldn't really choose which path to focus on to... they excel in different stuffs but ended up alone...
it's more on their emotional self which triggers them to become sociopaths either genetically or socially...
it's true that some people might have high IQ's but tends to have low EQ's and vise-versa...
