Oh my God!!! That movie was released sixteen years ago!!! I can barely remember it now! From what I can vaguely recall, it was a long, endless and rather relentlessly boring movie about a Native Indian tribe and some white soldier (played by Kevin Costner) who somehow ends up on their territory and eventually falls in love with one the "Indian" women there (Mary McDonnell). Something along those lines...
But don`t take my word for it so let`s refresh everyone`s memory here instead, shall we?
Plot Summary for Dances with Wolves (1990)
Lt. John Dunbar (Kevin Costner) is dubbed a hero after he accidentally leads Union troops to a victory during the Civil War. He requests a position on the western frontier, but finds it deserted. He soon finds out he is not alone, but meets a wolf he dubs "Two-socks" and a curious Indian tribe. Dunbar quickly makes friends with the tribe, and discovers a white woman who was raised by the Indians. He gradually earns the respect of these native people, and sheds his white-man's ways.
Having been sent to a remote outpost in the wilderness of the Dakota territory during the American Civil War, Lieutenant John Dunbar encounters, and is eventually accepted into, the local Sioux tribe. He is known as "Dances with Wolves" to them and as time passes he becomes enamoured by the beautiful "Stands With a Fist". Not soon after, the frontier becomes the frontier no more, and as the army advances on the plains, John must make a decision that will not only affect him, but also the lives of the natives he now calls his people...

Yes i seen it and I liked it because it was just a good movie. Kevin Costner is a really good actor!
And it was about Natives. And it peaked my interest!.
My mom was with a woman who worked in the movie one time and that woman told my mom that they made those natives ride on school bus's and everyone else rode in a limo.
That woman said when she seen that she told them to get the natives out of those school bus's and get them limo's
GOOD FOR HER! RIGHT ON GURL!!
i have respect for people like her who treat everyone equal. 6 hands up! if i had that much.:D

I saw it and then I bought it. I liked the movie, I thought it was interesting, funny and captivating.
It's the type of movie, for me that I would curl up to alone on a rainy day with a bunch of munchies and a fire burning.

Yep, it's one of my favorites. As a Native American I appreciated the effort that was put into authenticity. The cinematography was gorgeous, and you really get a feel for what the West was like before "civilization". Seeing Kevin's butt was just gravy.

I liked it until the union soldiers killed his horse and the wolf then I thought it just sucked. I don't like animal violence.
