Well, if you're asking because you're looking to develop the land... the best thing you can do is go see a local civil engineer.
Together you can look at the zoning of the property, the availability of water and sewer, buffers, easements and other encumberances on the land, and also do a layout for you of how a subdivision would work with your local municipalities regulations.

Baaad idea, that has already been done too much .
Urban sprawl very ugly, need more high rise units .
Also, many health problems already from residential on previous agriculture land due to residual pesticides , kids getting ill .
