your is possessive, you're is a contraction for "you are." i am not the smartest person or the best typer. i can say, however, that when i publish something on the internet, or i send an e-mail, or i just wite (note: not right) a note to myself in my planner, i spell words correctly, i use proper grammar, and i do my best to make synatactical sense (not since). why do so many people refuse to learn the WRITTEN english language when typing? (and yes, i do realize i don't capitalize when i should.)

Yes, bobyglot is right. I am one of them. What is 'synatactical'? Did you put an extra 'a' in there for some reason?
You say that you realize that you don't capitalize when you know you should. So why criticize those who use wrong grammar and who don't use spell check? Why do you refuse to use the written English language when typing?

A little friendly advice: People will scrutinize the writing of someone who is "pointing the finger" at others much more mercilessly than they will that of the ones at whom "the finger is being pointed."
