I asked my dr about issues with the memory foam as long as your not allergic to latex etc you should be fine
I love my memory foam latex bed and i have severe asthma with no problems we havve had it for about 1 yr. We swear by it. We will never go back to a spring mattress. we actually hate to travel now cause we miss our beds. We have a huge entire suitcase with our memory foam pillows. Our dogs refuse to get out of bed now lol. we are gong to be purchasing a memory foam crib mattress. We never wake up soar. I can get out of bed alnight and not wake up hubby or the dogs lol. We think that the memory foam actually helped our health. We have horrible back injuries and degenerative bone disease and bulging disc and its been helping us. we actually talked a few people into buying it and our chiroprator actually bought it too.i dont believe we have to worry about dust mites either. we love it we have a
DORMIA mattress set. its so worth it. We didnt like the termurpedic one. I'm not trying to spam here is the website it will guide you to a near by store. my hubby and I researched the mattresses and this was the best. we also layed on every mattress hey had for 15 minutes everytime we went back. we went back almost weekly for a week. and then we picked out our mattress on a interest free for a yr. it was easy to pay off and so worth the money. its saved us money to the chiropractor 3 or more times a week. I hope this helped you. good luck and do your research. we have the rapsidoy by them by the way and my friends have the ultimate and my chiro bought the ambrosia.

I sleep on a memory foam mattress topper on top of a box spring (Yeah, I really need a mattress) but I've never had a problem. I've been sleeping on it for years. My aunt has had a foam mattress for years and years (10+) and she's never had a problem.

My children used to sleep on foam mattresses as these came with the bunk beds they had. They complained that they had sore backs so I had to get rid of them. I think it's best to sleep on a firm mattress, not foam.

Yes, there are.
Foam provides a loose support to the body - spinal chord - and it is less comfortable eventhough seems to be luxurious. In old age the gap between spines gets disturbed due to various reasons and loose support increases the difficulties - pain.
Foam and rexin are less comfortable in winter and summer. In winter rexin cover on foam becomes more cold as compared to cotton and a person of cough constitution and joint pains will get suffered. In summer sweating can be there and rexin can't absorb it, sweat vaporises and heat increases causing disturbed sleep. This way it can creat problem.
