I just discovered today I can sing really well in opera or like classical music. The porblem is that i'm thirteen. I like some classical music but i'm more into pop, rock, rap, and pretty much everything except hillbilly, techno, and dance. I'm not aure how ell i do in other styles I guess I do Ok but im way better with opera. I wanna know if there's a way i can sing other styles like pop or rock or even some type of gothic music just anything else with and opera voice.

Yes you can. Amy Lee from Evanescence sings with a kind of opera voice, in a way, and she's the lead singer-songwriter-pianist of a goth metal/alternative piano rock band. Vanessa Anne Hudgens (Gabriella from High School Musical) has been trained in opera too and she sounds okay even if she's not singing a ballad. The next best example is me, who, at 13 is pianist-songwriter-vocalist of my acoustic pop/rock band with my friends and I've been playing the piano and singing since I was 5.

Well, the techniques taught for singing opera and for pop music, or any other kind of singing for that matter, are completely different. That doesn't mean that you can't do both, just that you cannot do them both the same way.
If your talent best lies with opera than I'd take that training the most seriously. You can always learn how to do the other too but opera takes the most dedication.

If singing is your passion no one can stop you from becoming world-class singer. The voice is god-gifted but singing is a skill that can be learned.

First off, Evanescence is nothing but a pop rock band with goth influences. If you're looking for gothic metal acts with exceptional operatic singers, I would suggest looking up Tarja Turunen (Nightwish), Simone Simons (Epica), and the all-female band Matriarch.
It's still always best to know what style your voice sounds the best in, and what you feel the most comfortable singing. Also, with operatic singing, you should be able to control your voice when reaching high notes. Instead of forcing them out and putting too much of a push onto them, it's better to just "squeeze" them out if they're too high for you.

You can sing in some rock/metal music with a very operatic voice. Just take a look at the likes of King Diamond and Power Symphony. You might even consider Evanescence to a lesser extent. Many vocalist in this genre use those vocal techniques and it melds really well with the ridiculously heavy guitar riffs and such.

Singing is something that everybody can learn and improve. Of course, some are more naturally skilled than others, but even a poor voice can be overcome by dedication, practice, and more practice. Actually, I like his voice a lot now. I didn't like it too much the first time I heard it, because I found it a bit too high, and the shrieks bothered me for some reason. I liked the music and lyrics, though, so I gave it another chance and I learned to like his voice as well. It just took some getting used to.

If you really can sing opera, you can sing anything at all. Some of the best rock singers have operatic training. It will help you a LOT. Good luck!

There is a Janet Jackson song on her album "janet.", and it features an Opera Singer over a rock/hip-hop beat called "I'm Giving You Back" it's pretty interesting.

Gothic, and Death Metal ussually have opera singers in them, so GothRock would be your best bet for Opera singing.
