If God was created, he would not be precisely be called as God, that is if you believe that He is the creator of all that have existence. In philosophy there are two main classifications of being, "that exist", the finite which is limited such as human beings, and the infinite which is the "unlimited". Do you think a finite being can exhaust the infinite? I don't think so. Meaning, God, who is the infinite, has no beginning and has no end and has all the power above all things. How these things put into being? that's the mystery that we cannot fathom for we are only finite.

The most likely answer, because it best fits all the evidence (or lack thereof), is that the whole idea of god(s) is total nonsense.
Without gods in the picture, these weird questions go away. Not that we should just avoid weird questions, but I don't see any reason to waste time by creating nonsensical questions like this. You may as well ask where Peter Pan was during the big bang.
On the other hand, the question of whether god(s) exist is a worthy philosophical question. And if you mean to suggest that the big bang and god(s) don't seem altogether compatible, then I guess it's a fair question. But there are much better arguments against the existence of god(s), such as the fact that there is no reason (compelling evidence) to believe that god(s) exist(s), evil things happen all the time, etc.

I don't believe in God, because of what "He" represents and the scientific impossibility of such a being. Not to mention all the horrible things he has done... I mean like Noah and the ark. He messed up so badly that he drowned all but two of each animal? I'm assuming that the majority of the living things he drowned were blameless, too. How lovely. "Sure, i created you, and you haven't done anything wrong, but I'm just gonna start from scratch. Sorry."? And if God is all knowing, then why didn't he stop the serpent from tempting Eve? Why did he even bother with the whole garden of Eden thing, if he knew that we were going to get kicked out? If that isn't just plain cruelty, i don't know what is. I know that that is mostly about a Christian God, but those are the most prominent in America. The only possible God that would be possible would be a deist god, or the multi-verse theory (That God was the result of evolution in an alternate universe), but those are fairly abstract.

You can think about where did God come from, but the fact is He was the beginning and He will be the end. God created Adam and Eve and gave them free will. I do not believe in the Big Bang theory. The Bible plainly says In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. I believe there miight be life in another universe, but a sinless life. Maybe the earth is the only place sin is, and that is why we have God's holy word to save us.

My personal belief is that God is essentially the universe(s). The reason we don't understand Him is because with the free will He gave us, we have been turning away from Him trying to prove in our own way how everything works. Honestly, science is our own way of trying to figure out how He works. The reason we have yet understood how he works is because we have yet to unlock the true potential of our minds. It's been proven that we only use about 7% of our brains. I say, that once we unlock the doors to the rest of our brain, we will truly be enlightened and finally figure out and understand God. When that happens, we will truly join him in the Heavens and will live eternally with him as Gods of His image. That's my belief.
As far as the whole Heaven and Hell thing goes, you must understand that the Bible was written by man. Man is imperfect, so our comprehension of Him is imperfect. Honestly, if God truly is the all knowing, merciful, and ever loving God that I personally believe he is, why would he punish us? Lets say you lived a horrible life, as a murderer or a con-artist, or someone whom chose a path of evil ways. If God truly loves us so, which I'm sure he does, why would he send us to an eternal punishment of fire and torment? If he's all knowing, which I'm sure he is, then why would he create us, give us free will, and let us make the choices we make, ALREADY knowing that we were going to make those decisions, just to already know that he was going to punish us in the beginning?!?! The logic behind that concept is flawed, imperfect, such is man.
This is why I'm a Scientific Agnostic. I believe in God. I just don't agree with the different sects of religion that imperfect man has created.
In other words, when you die, murderer or "bad person" or not, I think that in the all-powerful, loving, merciful presence of God Himself, you realize the err of your ways, beg for forgiveness, and He allows you to go into Heaven if you chose, or allows you to redo your life if you want to try to do better, or try to do good for the universe. And that's my two cents.

The Big Bang is not such a complete theory, really. It's nothing like the theory of evolution. Take it with skepticism if you have trouble understanding it - science is elegant, and reveals truth, and you recognize truth when you meet it. So why does the Big Bang/Crunch not resonate as truth? Because it's probably false. Must god be so limited as man, that it has a birth and a death? Nonsense. Creation is occurring forever, in the eternal now.

No one 'created' God, He just IS.
Yeah, I am a christian who believes in the Big Bang theory, I think that all God did was snap his fingers and I'm sure that that snap of the fingers was like a loud bang reverberating throughout the universe.

I sometimes wonder that myself. It is the most awesome question in the history of questions! As you think of what could be the answer, you realize that our own mind is not able to conceive of what could be the answer because it would be infinite.

God is not created. As to when, how and why, it is beyond human comprehension.
