Start with where you live. We had a two story house and barn swallows were nesting in the eves, the mites were migrating in through the windows. Spraying around them got rid of them right away.
Most mites and fleas won't live on humans but will bite once or twice.
I'm afraid your going to have to get the kids out for the day and go through the whole ordeal and bomb the entire house, clean everything, wash everything and then vaccum, if you miss anything, you'll have to start over.

If you have carpeting, they could be returning via that. Quell or
Kwell Lotion is what we used when our family of eight (and a dog) got infected by a cat my sister's friend had. Yep, a stupid sleep-over. My poor mother had to do the laundry every other day for a week while we had to put that stuff in our hair and all over our bodies after a shower. I think it was something else that lives just under the skin....can't recall the name right now. But, mites do the same thing.

in the start did you recognize what's biting you? Take the canines to the vet to work out if got here from the canines. If not bypass for your known practitioner. it may nicely be distinct issues which includes scabies, lice(body lice), crabs, fleas(you'll see them), Wash mattress clothing daily and vacuum daily, until eventually you locate out what your coping with, then call the pest administration human beings. i'd do this as rapidly as a chance, the vet will supply the canines meds to remove the precedence yet you want to fix some thing else of the precedence.
