communication is the key I have been married for over 16 years and we separated over 5 months ago and that is the main reason why, and he never had one real reason why and never went to see the doctor so after several years ( yes several) it took so much from me as a woman i couldn't do it anymore.

I'm sorry you are having problems in this area. The key is to openly communicate each others needs with each other. Let him know how you feel, ok? You deserve that, and explain to him you think you do put in effort, and just what would it take for him to think you had? If you suspect there might be a valid medical problem, maybe you can convince him he really should see a doctor. Good luck!

He might be having some medical problem recently developed such as diabetes, hormonal imbalance, erectile dysfunction, or merely excessive stress. Try to take him to a doctor to rule out these causes. As he says he is interested in sex, but doesnt indulge in it, there could be some medical problems.
If not, check if he has developed some other interests such as taking drugs, or even have other women in his life whom he finds to be more attracted to. i hope these arent the case with your husband and that he would return to his normal loving life with you soon.

This could be one problem. But tell him that if he loves you and values his marriage he will go to the doctor. If he refuses, then it may be something else wrong.
