It wasn't planned by our government but neither was it prevented by those in power or by those with common sense enough to know that we can't interfere with other countries and not expect something of this sort to happen. I had said for years that eventually the war on terror would come to our shores as did many average people in discussions we had regarding foreign policy and its defects and end results.

And let's remember who put the Taliban in power...oh yes...that's right...America. We put the Taliban in power during the early 1990s in an attempt to drive out the Russians from Afghanistan in its attempt to spread communism. The Taliban fought side-by-side with the Northern Alliance. After the war was finished, the Taliban took control of the region and forced their extreme non-Islamic views on the country and murdered thousands for not following their beliefs or for being Shia.
And yes, the U.S. knew this was happening the entire time but decided to attack only what? About 11 years later?
LOOSE CHANGE!!!

were the 9/11 attacks consumer-friendly criminal acts of Vandalism or homicide, i'd say you've a level, yet when you consider that they were somewhat Acts of warfare, i'd say you're probable blinded to the risk that they'd be justified contained in the delay by your irrational hatred of something Bush. those were Acts of warfare dedicated with accessible being a valid recognized authorities in the back of them, yet Acts of warfare even with the reality that. this isn't the Symbionese Liberation military posing as a stress at warfare with the US as cover for run-of-the-mill monetary employer robberies, those were the acts of a set actually aiming to reason harm to if no longer the destruction of u . s . of america. the actual incontrovertible reality that there isn't any unmarried u . s . to pin it on purely ability the Geneva convention does no longer stick with to those captured, even with the undeniable fact that it does no longer recommend that those overseas brokers are entitled to each and each and every of the protections afforded to relations criminals. attempt to seem previous your prejudices adversarial to Bush, and comprehend that the Clinton frame of mind to coping with the faster attack meant to take down the WTC towers replaced into to handle it as an consumer-friendly criminal remember, and replaced into extremely ineffective. per chance a logical and justifiable decision on the time, yet so for sure ineffective in hindsight that to attempt it lower back will be irresponsible.

What he saw was what we all saw the building burning and the commentator telling us it was an airplane. I thought the same thing George thought.
