2 causes, completely different.
1- Too much sex.
If he is having intercourse more than 3 times a day, the penis can become quite sore from over use. If you have sex a lot with the girl on top, the testicles can get sore from being crushed.
2- Not enough sex.
If he is constantly aroused and isn't getting any satisfaction, the testicles can become engorged with semen. They can become quite sore and in extreme cases the scrotum can turn blue because the blood isn't circulating properly due to the engorged testicles.

Depends... any heavy petting? Ever hear of Blue Balls? If that is not the case, should be seen by a doctor, to find the problem.

My husband gets sore all the time! Mostly when we have sex when I'm pretty dry. And he also wears a tool belt. Chill out, and good luck.

Maybe it's because he has a girlfriend who can't spell.

Tell him to see a doctor.
