I have some nice Dr. Marten boots, I'd wear them with everything if I could. They are mid-calf, so that would constitute as of being a combat boot. I do it all the time, and everytime I get called country by my friends, but whatever. It's all about comfort, plus, who the hell says you can't wear combat boots with your skirt? They are nice black boots, I can dress them up or dress them down. I look at it like this, just because I'm wearing a skirt doesn't mean that I want to were high healed stillettos, pumps, or whatever. I want to be cute and comfortable, so of course, regardless of what I'm wearing, I'll grab my boots. I'm 24..I do what I want!! I you want to wear your boots and your skirt, that's your fashion taste, I say go with it. I can't stand the "new fashion" those silly little ankle boots and skirts..I think that's horrible.

Ah no. But I do know a gal who wore them under her wedding dress for the part where the groom takes off the garter. He was really surprised as was everyone else.
She also broke out into an a capella song "You are my Valentine" just before the end of the ceremony too.

Back in the early 90s that was quite a popular fashion statement. I haven't seen too many people pulling it off well since then. I personally couldn't rock that style because my mom would've had a fit.

My sis does and I think it looks good on her ,but it depends what you look like first of all and second you have to have makeup that looks good with the outfit!
