I want to sell on ebay for first time.?

I never sold anything on ebay before. The website is very confusing and not helpful. Anybody can give straightforward fee structure and tip on how to post pictures and description? The website has so many fee structures, I don't know which applies to what. Can anybody simplify the fee structure for me. Thank you.

You pay an insertion fee anytime you set up a listing. The price depends on the options you choose. If the item sells you will be charged a percentage of the selling price.
