MAC makeup?

Question

Everyone says it's amazing, so I want to know how much it would cost to get set up with a set of the all the essential makeup. Also, if you have it, what specific items of theirs do you have? Thanks ^_^

There are some good ideas for pricing of makeup here (and, of course you could go to their website), but don't forget the brushes! They often are more expensive than the makeup itself, but it's a worthwhile one-time investment. I would never apply foundation without a brush again after buying one from Mac, and I've been using the same one for 2 1/2 years.
I would suggest going to a Mac counter and having someone do your makeup. Buy the "must haves" there, and then look online (ebay; dealtime) for better prices for the other stuff.

MAC is great when it comes to color selection. I also think that the makeup stays on longer vs the other products sold in the department stores. That said, the products are worth the price. The price on different products range from $12 to $40. Majority of products however are less than $25. I like their eyeliners, whether gel or pencil. I love their eye shadows. I do not care for their foundations because they can be too thick and cause acne. I like their bronzers and blushes too.

i personally use only their eyeshadows and occasionally their lip gloss. I like their eyeshadows because it goes on smooth and stays on. It's got high pigmentation so the colors go on very nicely. You'll be needing the brushes as well. Eyeshadows are about $16 each. Lipgloss, i'd say $13. foundation get a little pricier, maybe $25-$30. Brushs can be anywhere from $15-$20. it all depends. It's a good idea to check on the Mac website for exact pricing. As for foundation...i use Bare Escensuals. I like that because it's very light and it stays on. Plus, it goes on very naturally.

i would just go to the website and see the prices.
For eye shadow's don't buy single one's get a palette from the black formal or a pigment set, i love the intense eyes its bright and colorful and the cool pigment set, Also look into MAC paint in canvas or beig-ing shade stick for a base. Also get palettes for lipsticks, The palettes are much cheaper then buying them seprate. For blush for any skintone i like blushbaby it suits everyone it looks scary in the pan but it goes on beautiful but if your more into pink blushes get Dolly mix its a beautiful dark pink with sparkles, but its scary in the pan. For foundation studio fix fluid or studio fix powder. ( personally i love both together ) These are medium-full coverage so if you dont like that much coverage Select SPF15 would be perfect. I really think you NEED (lol) the 187 brush its expensive but u can use it for powder foundation liquid foundation blush creme blush everything!

I love Mac makeup! It is good and not strong for your face. The lipsticks, eyeshadow, lipgloss and mascara are quite good. I'm not sure about what the prices are but it's so worth it. The blush is also good but I hardly use it...

Well, I only like MAC for their eyeshadows and lipglosses, so that's all I have from them. If you just want to start, try getting a eyeshadow quad, a lipgloss, and on of their face powders. This is the best way to see if you like their products. For me, I'm addicted to their wonderful colors!

chek the website.. i get it off eBay sumtimes.. cause its cheaper but stop by a store to get the right colors for ya.. it is amazing tho.
