It sounds like you've dropped to maybe a baritone or second tenor range from a first tenor (or even an alto) range - that's not such a bad thing, really. A good vocal coach might be able to help get some of the higher range back, but really, there's no reason to. There's a lot of good music written for the baritone range.

Realistically, your hormones have probably left their mark. You just can't sing into the alto-ish range anymore. Look at it this way - maybe you can't sing as high as you used to, but I bet you have a deeper, more mellifluous voice now than you used to in your old alto falsetto. Go with what works, and you can still be a professional singer.

You must exercise you vocal chords every day for at least 2 hours, Falsetto is where your high notes are, to discover your falsetto you must whisper then slowly bring in the voice, Think of the voice you would use to call a cat or talk to a sweet little baby. It may take a while but once you can make this soft sound you can develop it, this in turn will add to your natural range, as you voice redevelops. Get some appegios and scales to practice to, do these for at least a half hour per day, if you discover that your voice is getting sore stop as you may damage it, dont drink milk or alcohol dont smoke, keep a warm cup of pre boiled water to relax your voice, remember its a muscle and it must be warmed up just like an athlete.

There are technical reasons for the recognition of diverse voices. at diverse situations. . The microphone became invented for the telephone (or it may no longer artwork) and easily reached the means to artwork with singers in 1926. Radio became king - it relatively is the place maximum folk have been given their leisure from. Baritones became the voice of the pop field, by using fact severe tenor voices could actually blow out the valves in the radios. (think of Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and others. Now, it relatively is nicely-known!) Recording concepts have more suitable lots on the grounds that then, so all varieties of voices artwork for a living in all varieties of song. supply me a physically powerful voice and that i will like it any day - the form isn't the project, the in many situations occurring is.

Firstly try to practise with a proper instrument (piano, guitar, etc.) so you can try your vocal range. You could go to a choir audition to see if they pick you. If they don't, ask why or if it's really so obvious your voice isn't properly trained, I suggest you pick up a musical instrument to help. Practice scales (sing an octave ascending and descending from each major) and if you can't reach the notes try falsetto.

Bael's right...you may have lost your range, but if you know how to sing, you know how to sing. Make the most of your range and take care of your voice.

A professional assessment by a professional vocalist, or instructor, is really in order if you have done so already.

Most will say something like, "You've either got it or you ain't."
Don't be discouraged by that. While it's probably true, you might be able to fake it. Lots of others have.

You can regain it, maybe not all but some. But you really need to invest in vocal range classes if you are serious. NOT the computer kind.
