SAIL - it has around 8 steel plants in India.
RINL - it has one steel plant in Visakhapatnam
Tata steel - It has one steel plant at Jamshedpur.
There are several other small steel plants, by other private companies.
Recently POSCO started construction of a major steel plant in Orissa. Once constructed, this is expected to be the largest integrated steel plant in India, though SAIL's total capacity is expected to be more.
There are several small steel plants coming up in Orissa, many of them in private sectors and some with govt. participation.
