I am looking for a pressure pump(washer) that generates 1500-5000 psi applying 12V DC battery. How many batteries required ?
Can I buy such pumps in the market ? please give more information on it.

My pressure washer has a 5 horsepower motor and creates about 200 psi. The short answer is that car starter motors create 5 to 10 hp for a short while but get hot fast. One battery will do the job for a very short while. The easier way is to use an electric washer, convert the 12 vdc to 120vAC with an inverter and wash away. The amount of batteries will depend on how long you want to operate at high pressure. The more the better. Can you buy such a pump, sure, convert a small home electric unit. Another good source for this stuff is West Marine, check their website and they have a great tech staff and no I don't work there.

1600 psi is on the light end of the pressure washer lineup. Mine is 3700psi and about 7 1/2 HP. Another rating is the number of gallons per minute pumped. All these factor into the price of the unit, which is yet another consideration. And yet another is whether the unit will dispense soap solutions for various applications. .Ultimately you will have to decide how often and what you will be using it for. For a one time garage floor scrubbing, it might be best to rent one from a rental center. If you are going to use it for washing vehicles once a week along with maintaining huge or several decks/exterior stairs or prepping houses for painting you would do well to invest in one with high psi, horsepower, AND flow. If you just gotta have one for light duty, then electric is ok, but generally speaking they tend to be lower powered, lower flow and lower psi than gas powered. They also tend to be less mobile due to the requirement for power outlets. Tis a difficult question to answer without knowing what your anticipated uses and requirements are for the machine. Maybe the best bet is start at some store make note of what they have for performance/price and just check others stores to see variances and eventually come up with what you can afford vs features!

It works through a high pressure pump. It depends on the horse power of the engine and the capacity of the pump, they go together. You won't find a system on 12v and it does not matter how many batteries you have. Most pressure portable units are powered by either gas or diesel. You can buy these portable units almost anywhere.

I don't think one of those exist. You can buy electric ones (110v) for use with house current that run on the low end of the pressure range. Anything more and you need a gas drive.
