Just noticing that many blacks like to say they "stay" when others say they live at a certain location. It sounds like they they like to roam alot.

Let's not get emotional about this. Yes we all use the word stay. I stayed at a friends house to watch TV etc etc. But I don't stay(live)there. It was a temporary thing. It is NOT a racist question. Can anyone be adult and not get all worked up.

Every group of people have their own dialect that shows pride in who they are. If you're really interisted, I would suggest reading more about AAVE. African American Venacular sp? English. It sounds like you may be interisted in linguistics and there are people who devote their lives to it, so check out their work.

First, y'know what I thought was the worse part about your question? The fact that you used the word 'Blacks' like it's okay.
Second, generalizations are ridiculous, especially when speaking of African Americans. We are too diverse a society to be put into a box. There are so many facets to our nature and culture, that you can't depend on what you've seen to determine your ideals about us. I try not to make generalizations such as all white people are scared of black people, or white people all ways say 'like' behind every other word. I realize that this is just ludacris.
Now, I've noticed that you written, 'let's not get emotional.' But, how do you expect people to react when you speak about them that way? We are tired of being underestimated because of our skin; I know I am.
So, the moral of the story is: Don't make generalizations or believe stereotypes. This goes for all races, religions, and societies.

I say stay and i am white, many people ROAM or move around a lot. I have moved many places, just because I CHOSE to its not about race. UR SO STUPID!

Why does it make a difference what we say? is it hurting you? Why do you care so much? Do you have a life?
You don't see black people asking why some white people say "gee golly" all the time.
