No real need, it's just something I've always been curious to know how to do on, like a regular bedroom door. Describe for me, step-by-step instructions, including what to use, and I'll choose a best answer from all that I'm actually succesful by following, based on the best description and easiest to follow. Thanks!

I've opened one with a bobby pin before...just open the bobby pin...spread it apart...then jiggle it in the lock.....sometimes you can slide a plastic credit card by the metal that sticks in the door...and it will release it...and open door.

take a wire hanger and bend the curved top of it so that it's straight. then put the point into the hole in the door knob and keep pushing it forward and move it around. you'll end up unlocking the door in 5 minutes maximum. if there isn't a whole in the door knob use a credit card to go down the side of the door in between the door and the door frame. good luck.

Take off the end of a Q tip, and it's great for picking locks. Toothpicks are alseo awesome. Credit cards also work great, but you really have to wedege them in the crease of the door to get them to work.
