Depends on the genre and the time period. I really have too many i consider to be great and really none to be the greatest. Plus, you can never go wrong with a Cult Classic.
Comedy: The Ace Ventura Series
Christmas: Tie between Home Alone and National Lampoons Christmas Vacation.
Psychological Thriller: Fight Club
Drama: Life as a House
Action: Just about anything with Jackie Chan that is not Dubbed.
Love Story: The Notebook
Dramedy: A guy thing
Sci-fi: The 5th Element
Horror: Event Horizon
Children: Harry Potter series.
Overall the greatest movies Ive seen Are Fight Club and Van Wilder. I think Ive seen them both 20+ times and still i never get board watching them.
